leave some space - I'm convinced that there is no real formula: play a lot of notes, leave space, play more melodic, play with more fire or grit, wing it, structure every note and nuance...all of them work and none of them work.

I find it sad how labels don't develop and nurture artists from scratch anymore. You have to be a viral hit on YouTube/Insta/TikToK before they will even look your way.
That it becomes less about talent & originality every year, and more about paying for exposure. I only started releasing in 2002 though, so it's only 24 years of experience I guess.
