We are banning social media access for under 16s. These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life. I just can’t let that go on anymore. So we’re giving children their childhoods back.

"Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending and delivering a goodwill message at the Nigerian People Strategic Conference & Defence Exhibition (NPSC 2026) held at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja, under the theme: “Building a Modern Security Ecosystem: Integrating Private Sector Capacity into Nigeria’s National Security Architecture.” The conference brought together distinguished leaders and experts, including the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, CON; the Honourable Minister of Defence, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR; Senator Osita Izunaso, OFR; Dr. Charles Awuzie, Convener of the Conference; and other stakeholders from government, the military, intelligence, academia, civil society, and the private sector. In my goodwill message, I commended Dr. Charles Awuzie and the organizing team for convening such a timely and strategic conference, particularly at a period when Nigeria faces increasingly complex security challenges that require collective and innovative solutions. In my contribution to the discussions, I emphasized that while security operations remain important, Nigeria must increasingly focus on developing a comprehensive homeland security framework that integrates intelligence, critical infrastructure protection, emergency management, cybersecurity, community resilience, and stronger public-private sector collaboration. The conference reinforced the importance of strategic partnerships, institutional coordination, and proactive policymaking in building a safer, stronger, and more secure Nigeria. I commend the organizers for creating this important platform for national dialogue and support the decision to make the conference an annual event. 🇳🇬 Together, through partnership, innovation, and strategic thinking, we can build a more secure Nigeria." Written by @MatAshimolowo .official WE WILL NOT BE SILENT A Celebration of Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye There comes a time when silence becomes ingratitude. There comes a time when honour becomes a sacred duty. There comes a time when sons and daughters must rise to celebrate the gifts that God has given to a generation. This is such a time. We refuse to be silent while men and women of eternal significance are reduced to headlines, controversies, and social media trends. We refuse to stand by while those who have sacrificed decades in service to God and humanity are casually criticized by people who have built nothing, fathered nobody, planted no churches, and transformed no nations. The sons and daughters of prophets must never be silent while cheap publicity seekers use great men as instruments for attention. A generation that does not honour its fathers has no future. A people who cannot recognize greatness in their midst will eventually suffer the tragedy of its absence. Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye is not merely a church leader. He is not merely a denomination head. He is not merely a respected minister. He is one of the most significant Christian leaders of our generation and one of the greatest spiritual gifts God has given to Africa and the global Church. We should never allow a man who chose humility to become the chewing stick of the uninformed. We should never permit the noise of critics to drown out the voice of history. We should never watch while modern-day Sauls seek to intimidate, discredit, or silence God's servants. Scripture records how King Saul pursued David. Scripture records how Doeg the Edomite became an instrument of destruction against the priests of God. Throughout history, political power has often sought to suppress prophetic voices. Yet God has always preserved His servants and vindicated His purpose. The Church must never become indifferent when its fathers are unfairly attacked. Nor should we wait until our prophets cross into eternity before we begin to celebrate them. Too often, flowers are sent to funerals when they should have been delivered while the recipient was still alive.

Well done H.E Mr. President @officialABAT Sir, and Madam Honourable Minister @Ojukwu_Bianca. Thank you for always looking out for diasporians. May I also suggest that everyone in this situation be made to take an oath with the Nigerian pledge upon return and failure to keep the oath should carry heavy penalties. We must activate every risk alert as we can't afford to have more issues added to the ones we already have. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria 🇳🇬🙏

"Nigerians do not break. We bend, we bleed, but we do not break".
Fellow Nigerians Today, we celebrate democracy and the enduring Nigerian spirit. For 27 unbroken years, since May 29, 1999, Nigerians have chosen their leaders through the ballot, witnessed peaceful transitions of power, and resolved disagreements in courtrooms and legislative chambers—not through violence. We have experienced the longest stretch of civilian rule in our history. Our democracy is not perfect, but it is ours, and we must continue to defend and strengthen it.
