So here’s the thing. We sent this bloke to do the things no one wants to do. Along the way he demonstrated his bravery and was awarded our highest honour. You don’t get a VC for helping old ladies across the street. We cannot judge a man for what he does in combat by civilian standards at home. He shouldn’t be in gaol. If he needs to be judged then that should be by a jury of men who have been on a two way rifle range and experienced first hand what it was like to be there. Looks to me like BRS is the modern day Breaker Morant. A scapegoat for the whining few who don’t deserve the sacrifices made by our ADF.

Small world story. My good friend Tommy, (here in NYC), has a brother Terrell who died unexpectedly a few weeks ago. Terrell and his mum, Helen, always helped this man and his dog with food and a sleeping bag. Tommy went to see him when he was in Memphis for the funeral. ❤️
