The SNL sketch that got Damon Wayans fired mid-season was this "Mr. Monopoly" sketch where Wayans decided before the show went live to play his cop character as flamboyantly gay. Wayans later said that Eddie Murphy previously warned him he better come up with his own sketch ideas or the other writers were going to write him as stereotypical black characters. "Everything Eddie said came true." As for why Wayans chose this particular moment to rebel, he said, "I snapped. I just did not care. I purposefully did that because I wanted [Lorne Michaels] to fire me," which host Griffin Dunne said he saw occur literally right after they all walked off stage.

During the press junket for Jurassic World: Evolution, a journalist took their entire interview time with Jeff Goldblum to have him read as Principal Skinner from THE SIMPSONS "Steamed Hams" episode, and it's amazing πŸ˜‚πŸ‘

In June 2000, Robin Williams sat down for a conversation with George Lucas for Robin's brief weekly interview show on audible. The episode was originally thirty minutes but below you'll find the entire raw recording from two different sessions, with discussions ranging from Marlon Brando as Jabba the Hutt, to Lucas asking if Robin would voice a CG Howard the Duck for a special edition of the '86 movie πŸ‘ Really cool

The idea for SNL's infamous "WORD ASSOCATION" sketch featuring Chevy Chase and Richard Pryor began with Pryor's personal comedy writer Paul Mooney and Mooney's dislike of Lorne Michaels. Pryor, who was set to host, demanded they hire Mooney to help write to Pryor's voice but Lorne was skeptical so he personally interviewed Mooney to see if he should hire him for the episode, which Mooney felt was more an embarrassing examination based on his race than talent. Mooney said, "After all the bullshit I've been put through to get here, the fucking cross-examination Lorne subjects me to, I decide to do a job interview of my own." The sketch was ranked in Rolling Stone magazine as #10 for their 50 Best SNL Sketches of All-Time list.
