There are over 600 #fossilfuel companies at #COP27 - while #CivilSociety is sidelined at the #climate conference.
Oil and gas industries have 636 representatives at the conference in Egypt – a rise of more than 25% on last year.

Liechtenstein has now tabled, on behalf of 38 cosponsors, a resolution that mandates a meeting of the #UN General Assembly whenever a veto is cast in the Security Council - the #VetoInitiative. The resolution is a meaningful step to empower the GA and strengthen multilateralism.
