Attention all non-union voice actors (like myself!) The strike still concerns us! If we want to maintain solidarity with our fellow actors, we need to keep aware of what projects are struck and avoid scabbing on them, even unintentionally.

SAG's webpage covering the strike links to an FAQ that explains the union's expectations for individual actors, both union and non-union. It also lets you search for a production by its code name or production ID to see if it's struck.

Remember, the union is fighting for AI protections that will be vital for all voice actors, union or otherwise! Even as someone who's never worked a union gig, I want to do my part in that fight.

Why does authentic casting matter? When I cast these roles, I encouraged the VAs to do their naturalistic/native accents, improv words/phrases from their background, etc & that created fun performances that fans w/ those origins got hype about. That extra bit of joy is the best.
