I've spent the last 5 years mentoring developers, helping them ship code and build careers. But when it came to growing my own presence on X, I was stuck: endless scrolling, forced content, zero flow. So I quietly shifted focus: diving full-time into building X Growth Engine, a tool that handles post creation, smart scouting, and targeted engagement... all while keeping your authentic voice intact. Today marks Day 1 of sharing the journey openly. Excited (and a little nervous) to document the progress, failures, and wins. #buildinpublic

Day 154 of building X Growth Engine in public. Taking a moment today to just sit with where I am at. Physically. Emotionally. Mentally. Financially. Not everything is perfect. It rarely is. But there is a quiet contentment in looking at all of it honestly and recognizing how far things have come. 154 days of building, struggling, adjusting and growing. Not just the product. Everything around it too. If you are in the middle of your own journey take a moment to do the same. You might be further along than you realize.

Day 153 of building X Growth Engine in public. Strategic refinement work is moving along. Wanted it to move faster. AI makes you think everything should happen at lightning speed now. But stability matters more than speed here. Rushing this part means breaking trust with the people actually using it. So it takes the time it takes. Moving steadily. Getting it right.

Day 152 of building X Growth Engine in public. Friday sneak peek. Been heads down this week on something I am excited about. Strategic refinement from your activity. The more you use X Growth Engine the more it understands what actually matters to you. And now it is using that understanding in a much smarter way. Details soon. Enjoy the weekend.

Day 151 of building X Growth Engine in public. I heard a great point yesterday. Products resonate when the builder has lived the problem. It is hard to manufacture that. Hard to fake the specific frustration that comes from experiencing something yourself and deciding to fix it. That authenticity shows up everywhere. In the features you prioritize. In the way you describe the problem. In the details only someone who has been there would think to include. That is what I am building with a resonance internally ringing with the frustrations of my users.

Day 150 of building X Growth Engine in public. I know exactly who I am building this for. The person I was before I figured out how X actually works. Scrolling endlessly. Posting into the void. Watching others build real connections and wondering what they knew that I did not. X is one of the most powerful tools for building opportunities and genuine connections I have ever come across. But it takes time to figure that out and most people never do. X Growth Engine exists to close that gap. To give people the insights and opportunities that used to take months of trial and error to find. If that sounds like where you are right now this was built for you.

Day 149 of building X Growth Engine in public. Caught myself doing something I should not be. Asking users what their niche is when the data to infer it is already there. New approach gives you a quick optional input on day one to get things moving. Then it learns from your actual behavior and gets smarter over time. Small fix. Big difference in how it feels. More of these improvements are exactly where I am headed.

Day 148 of building X Growth Engine in public. Actively scanning for the next biggest opportunity across features, marketing and growth. But not at the expense of what already works. 148 days of consistent rhythm is not something you trade for a fresh new direction. You find the expansion that fits alongside what you have already built. That balance is harder than it sounds and worth getting right. What is the biggest thing you would ask of a growth tool?

Day 147 of building X Growth Engine in public. Having everything in place to steer properly is everything I asked for. Areas to fix. Features to experiment with. Real conversations happening with real users. Weighing it all out takes its toll. Every direction feels important because every direction is important. But this is the stage I was building toward. Not the easy stage. The right stage. The product is in good hands. Mine and the community around it.

Day 146 of building X Growth Engine in public. Let me tell you what happened this week. X Growth Engine surfaced a post from an account I would never have found in my normal scroll. Similar size to mine. Completely outside my usual feed. I replied. The conversation was great. Natural, genuine, the kind that does not feel forced. New follower. New user. Real connection made. That is the whole point of this product in one moment. The opportunities are out there. You just need something to surface them.

Day 145 of building X Growth Engine in public. Building something from scratch is never easy. 145 days in and I can say that with full confidence now. There were stretches where progress felt invisible. Where the path forward was unclear and the voice in the back of your head gets loud. What kept me going was not a breakthrough or a milestone. It was community. People following along, sharing their own stories, showing up on the hard days without even knowing that is what they were doing. If you are in a tough stretch right now just know that is part of it. Building anything worthwhile takes longer than you want and costs more than you expect. But the people you find along the way make it worth every hard day. Keep going.

Day 144 of building X Growth Engine in public. @YoannaJuille and @AymericAveline deserves a shoutout today. Two incredibly professional and skilled individuals who took the time to give awesome feedback on X Growth Engine. The kind of input that is already pointing toward what comes next. Grateful for people in this community who take building seriously enough to give real honest input. More coming soon.

Day 143 of building X Growth Engine in public. I have been thinking about two categories of working with AI. Category one is using it. Prompting, generating, iterating. Most people live here and it is genuinely powerful. Category two is training it to work specifically for you. Shaping it around your needs, your context, your goals. The gap between those two categories is bigger than most people realize. Been deep in category two lately. Early days but the potential is hard to ignore. Excited for where this is going.

Day 141 of building X Growth Engine in public. Just surged past 500 followers. The interesting part is how the pace keeps increasing. Every hundred followers arriving faster than the one before. X Growth Engine in my daily workflow is a big part of that. Dogfooding your own product has a way of proving the point better than any pitch ever could. 500 down. A long way to go. Come join the journey. Free chrome extension at the link below.

Day 140 of building X Growth Engine in public. There is a stage in building that feels different from all the others. When the foundations are solid enough to start experimenting freely. Testing new ideas without the fear of breaking everything. Trying things that might not work knowing the core is strong enough to absorb it. Getting here takes time. It takes building the right foundations and surrounding yourself with early supporters who are invested in what you are creating. When both of those things are in place experimentation stops being scary and starts being fun. That is where I am right now. And it feels great.

Day 139 of building X Growth Engine in public. The information coming at you as a builder compounds over time. Early days it is manageable. The further along you get the louder it becomes. More sources. More opinions. More strategies that all sound reasonable until you are trying to follow all of them at once. Consistent momentum requires focus. And focus requires saying no to most of what is coming at you even when it sounds good. Protecting your attention is protecting your build.

Day 137 of building X Growth Engine in public. Overwhelmed in the best possible way. The support and connections since launching the free chrome extension have been something else entirely. This community continues to show up and it does not go unnoticed. If you have not joined yet there is still time to be part of something from the very beginning. Early access supporters are the ones who shape what X Growth Engine becomes next. Your feedback. Your experience. Your voice in the direction of this product. Link in comments. Come join the club.

Day 136 of building X Growth Engine in public. Communities are shutting down in a few days. Curious to see what X looks like on the other side of that. Whatever happens one thing is clear. The real connections made here do not disappear with a community tab. Those are built to last. Speaking of building. The chrome extension is live and completely free to try. Click add to chrome. That is it. No commitment. No risk. Just insights from your own X feed growing alongside you over time. Link below. Nothing to lose.
