Mucho mucho joy! Wonderful to see my pal @TomVH and his @carlsgolfland coworker Adam this week.
@CBrit24 and I were with them, covering the Feldman Automotive Children’s Miracle Celebrity Invitational ⛳️
I had the chance to talk to Patrick Kane @88PKane while he was getting fitted for new @TaylorMadeGolf clubs. I asked about his nerves outside of the rink and if he’s a normal person, like us on the tee.
I’m really proud of this series we created, a 3-part feature on how @Titleist created their new GTS drivers. A behind the scenes look at how the past 8 years have shaped this moment. This is the intro to the series, with episode 2 and 3 launching soon: youtu.be/C37AQhQEQmE
I'm batting 0 for about 1,000 on the SNKRS app. Did not get the Travis Scott drop again today. I feel like that's hard to do to lose every single raffle I've entered.
Good morning, Damon. I talked with Gary Player this past week at Aronimink about being 90, about Ozempic, about Winston Churchill, about socialism, about the future of LIV and what it was like to fly with Arnie. “I’d be on the floor about to crap myself!” thefriedegg.com/articles/gar…
Anyone know of a bakery in Southeastern Michigan (near Oakland County) that can make realistic looking cakes? Is it cake style, make a cake that looks like an item that isn't usually cake.
I will never understand why they don’t just do the post race interview once the jockey is off the horse. There is no reason the interviewer needs to get on a horse and ask questions. Makes me smile every time. #KentuckyDerby
It’s pretty incredible how good @miketirico is at everything he covers. He makes it seem like he’s an expert at every event he’s calling and sounds so natural doing it. That is so hard to do.
Maybe it’s just me, but something has felt off with the broadcast of the draft this year. This is normally my favorite thing to watch, and I just haven’t enjoyed it this year. I can’t pinpoint it, but it’s not entertaining
I made it to The Masters this year and wanted to share some notes, especially about the food, because that's what I'm really here for.
Starting with the peach ice cream sandwich:
Back in Map and Flag, I had a smash burger and fries for dinner. I didn't even look at what was on the burger, but after walking around for nine hours fueled mainly on sugar, it was a welcomed bit of protein and flavor.
All-in-all, the food is as advertised at @TheMasters. The service is fast, there is constantly food being refreshed, beverages are put out as you come through. It was an incredible experience from a food standpoint.
