My most profitable purchase was an NFT featuring a frog hugging a heart. At the time, it just seemed really cute and it didn’t cost much. I decided to buy it also because it reminded me of the PEPE meme coin, which also features a frog. I bought that NFT and basically forgot about it. Half a year passed and I was shocked to find out that its price had increased by 1000x. I never could have imagined that an image of a frog could be worth that much. This is simply ridiculous. Last season was called an «Alpha Season» but in reality, after a full month of continuous work, testing, and helping identify bugs, the most active participants received only $50-100. And that’s not even mentioning the fact that out of 34,000 participants, only around 200 were deemed eligible for rewards, while everyone else was left empty-handed without any recognition for the time and effort they invested. What makes it even worse is that no clear rules or requirements were provided at the start of the season. We were simply told that it would be something huge and that nobody should miss the opportunity. Once again, people believed those promises, and once again, they were disappointed. Now you’re announcing Season 2 and once again talking about rewards that will be bigger than those in Season 1. And once again, there are no concrete details. By now, we all know what your promises are worth. If Season 1 was an «Alpha Season» I’m honestly afraid to imagine what Season 2 will look like. Meanwhile, the price of $SOMI has already dropped by more than 95% from its peak and continues to fall. We still haven’t received our Season 5 rewards, even though more than a month and a half has passed since the snapshot. Every day of delay makes those rewards worth less and less. So answer one simple question: When will participants finally be able to claim their Season 5 rewards? Or are you intentionally delaying the claim process until the launch of your new DEX so that people are forced to bring their rewards there? People should want to use your DEX because it provides value, not because they are being pushed into it. At this point, it feels like instead of fulfilling old commitments, the community is once again being asked to believe in a new set of promises.
