The Killer Clown from Down in the Boondocks amazon.com/Killer-Clown-Down… The Clown Killer from Down in the Boondocks is a chilling psychological thriller written in a poetic, gritty narrative style. Set deep in rural America, this novel unravels the mind of a twisted serial killer whose disturbing artistry is as haunting as the trail of bodies he leaves behind. Blending horror, poetry, and criminal investigation, the story paints a grotesquely beautiful portrait of madness, isolation, and Southern vengeance. Each chapter peels back a layer of the killer’s past and psyche, drawing the reader into a suspenseful, poetic odyssey of death and depravity.

Pray About You, Be by My Side Pray beside me, pray beside me, Say you’ll always hold me, never let me go. Be mine, my love—you told me so, And I will never drift away. You’re my symphony, my melody, My harmony in every note of the day. What’s it to be, my darling? You see— We’re in love completely. So take my song to Anthony, My darling, please come back to me. Be by my side, I pray for you, To rise with me, to stay true. We’ll never hide our hearts away, The way we walk through the sands of life. No tide can pull us apart— Will you be my wife? We’ll sail our boat to distant shores, To lands where we can both explore. Eternity is what my heart implores— Please, come to me, my darling. I pray inside, I pray about you, To be by my side… forever true. Author Glenn S Duquette See my work on Amazon and B&N Whispers from Yesterday: Poetry of the Heart by Glenn S. “She Is the Symphony of the Dark” (A Requiem of Ruin, watch out - caution) She is not light, nor starry tune— She dances best beneath no moon. No flutes, no strings, no cello cries— Just whispered lies and hollow sighs. Her smile—a discord, sharp and sly, A dagger veiled in lullaby. She waltzes close then disappears, Leaving broken chords and tears. The orchestra bends to her deceit, Each note she steals, each soul she cheats. No love resides within her eyes— Just shadows dressed in sweet disguise. She plays the part, the siren’s call, Yet watches every lover fall. A haunting score with no refrain, She writes in minor chords of pain. From mountaintop to valley low, She leads you to a location that no flowers grow. Through twisted peaks of lust and sin, She grins and draws you deep within. You thought she’d be eternity— But she’s the end, the final key. A symphony of dusk and flame, She plays, then leaves you, not ever the same. She is not yours, nor anyone’s— A shadow waltz, a setting sun. The curtain drops, the lights go black— The Symphony of the Dark attacks. The End , first hand from me, my friend!!! Sweet Pink Dreamin’ of your soft touch, lingerin’ on my mind, Got me feelin’ restless, like I’m runnin’ out of time, There’s a sweetness in your smile I just can’t ignore, Like a secret garden callin’, pullin’ me to your door. Tell me when you’re ready, baby say the word, Every little whisper, yeah I hang on what I’ve heard… Let’s make a date tonight, under velvet skies, Hold you close, get lost in your eyes, Back and forth like a ride so high, We’re flyin’ somewhere past the sky… Feel your warmth, don’t let it go, Hearts in rhythm, movin’ slow, Baby tell me, let it show… I just wanna love you so. Sweet Pink You got that fire glowin’, deep beneath your skin, Every little movement pulls me further in, Time stands still when you’re next to me, Like the world fades out, just you and me. Say the night is ours now, don’t you hesitate, I’ve been waitin’ on this moment, don’t be late… When the world gets heavy, and the nights run long, We’ll write our story in a quiet song, No more waitin’, no more pain, Just you and me in love again… Sweet Pink Author Glenn S Duquette See my work on Amazon and B&N Whispers from Yesterday: Poetry of the Heart by Glenn S. A Hundred Miles for Love Verse 1 I’m an old soul with a weathered name, Boots got stories, miles got blame. I walked the shoreline, chased the tide, Looking for you with the wind at my side. Highway lights and mountain trails, Snow in my beard, hope in my sails, I’ve walked through storms and stars above, A hundred miles just to see your smile, my love. Chorus A hundred miles for love, I’d do it again, Through broken roads and the might-have-beens. If it takes a hundred more till I understand, I’ll keep walking toward the warmth of your hand. Yeah, I’ve crossed this land, never gave up, A hundred miles, baby, a hundred miles for love. Verse 2 Town to town, just passing through, Every face fading that wasn’t you. Maybe one more mile, maybe two, To know your fears and the truth of you. I don’t need easy, I don’t need fast, Just a place in your arms where the miles fall past. Chorus A hundred miles for love, rain or shine, Every step closer feels like borrowed time. If the road keeps winding, I won’t complain, Every scar I carry knows your name. Yeah, I’ve crossed this land, never gave up, A hundred miles, baby, a hundred miles for love. Bridge I’d fly a hundred miles on a prayer and a song, Cry a hundred nights just to prove I’m strong. I ain’t young, but I still run, When it comes to you, I ain’t done. Final Chorus / Outro A hundred miles for love, then a hundred more, Till I’m standing steady at your door. If you see me coming down that long road above, That’s just me, darlin’… Walking my hundred miles for love. A Blue Moon Prayer A blue moon rises, stars shining bright, A see-saw of silver in velvet night. The skies reflect within your eyes— Twinkling, soft, like lullabies. Your smile, so warm, it melts me through, Your giggle makes me feel brand new. Like a young soul free and wild, All because of you, love's child. A prayer I whispered to the skies, For sorrow’s weight to gently rise. That love may carry you each day, And light your steps along the way. So good morning, dear—I hope you knew, I spoke to Heaven just for you. If you felt a peace, or cracked a grin, That was my prayer, drifting in. You're looking swell—may joy not part, You're held today within my heart. Author Glenn S Duquette See my work on Amazon and B&N Whispers from Yesterday: Poetry of the Heart by Glenn S. A Broken Heart’s Goodbye The pressure in my chest won’t let me breathe. My mind won’t rest, replaying every lie you ever dressed as love. All those words you whispered soft— now they echo, hollow, cruel, and rough. Autumn leaves are falling now, and you will never call again. You swept me into fantasies, fed me heaven, then left me in the dark. Hand‑in‑hand in dreams, we walked the sky— only to crash to earth the moment you said goodbye. This is the end. We aren’t lovers. We aren’t even friends. You toyed with my heart like it was comedy, but the joke was on me, and the pain is real. It burns. It steals. It lingers still. Nothing was ever true— not the promises, not the “I love you.” You came back only to watch me beg, pleading on my knees, “Please… please…” And every tear tasted like my own defeat. I remember the sweetness you pretended to be— my comfort, my peace, my “emotional referee.” But it was staged, rehearsed, a show for your pride. Now I see the deceit you tried to hide. The truth hit hard— a storm I never saw coming. So I sit here, broken, trembling, crying myself toward sleep. Goodnight, for the last time, my sweet. But hear this— one day, I will rise. My heart will learn to breathe again without your memory tightening its chains. Your goodbye is not my ending. It’s the doorway to my healing. And when I stand whole again, stronger than before, I won’t whisper your name in sadness—I’ll thank the universe you’re gone. I’ll thank the universe you’re gone. A STRIP OF BACON Verse 1 I woke up in the kitchen with a hunger I ain’t fakin’, and on the counter smiled at me a strip of bacon… a strip of bacon. Verse 2 It wiggled when I grabbed it, like it knew the love I’m makin’, oh Lord, my heart was taken by a strip of bacon… a strip of bacon. Chorus (the hook) A strip of bacon, a strip of bacon, callin’ my name and my willpower’s shakin’. A strip of bacon, a strip of bacon, baby you’re the reason my diet’s breakin’. Verse 3 Put it on a BLT, watch that sandwich get awakened— everything gets sexier with a strip of bacon… a strip of bacon. Verse 4 It sizzles like a slow jam, each pop a temptation, and suddenly my life revolves around a strip of bacon… a strip of bacon. Final Refrain Ohhhh— a strip of bacon, a strip of bacon, darlin’ I’m fallin’, no mistakin’. A strip of bacon… a strip of bacon, baby you’re the love I’m takin’. Silly Symphony of Love Folk-style: gentle acoustic guitar, soft harmonica, and breeze-blown backing vocals 📷[Verse 1] In a land where dreams are drifting slow, Where the ocean hums and soft winds blow, I still hear your voice through the starry haze, Calling me home through the midnight waves. [Verse 2] Sing me a song of freedom and light, Of summer moons and hearts made right. Your melody finds me, wherever I roam, And pulls me back to where love feels like home. [Chorus] Come to me, oh sail my way, Through golden tides and break of day. Say my name and I’ll say yours too, In this silly little symphony I wrote for you. [Verse 3] The nights are short, but our love is long, Woven deep in a seaside song. The stars all shimmer, the sky stands still— You're the breeze that bends my will. [Chorus] Come to me, oh sail my way, Through golden tides and break of day. Say my name and I’ll say yours too, In this silly little symphony I wrote for you. [Bridge] No need to cry, no need to fear, I’m waiting where the shoreline's clear. Let rain fall soft, let wild things grow, Just know I'm yours, just so you know. [Final Chorus – Soft & Slow] Come to me, oh sail my way, With laughter light and skies so gray. Say my name and I’ll say yours too, Forever in this melody I made for you... [Outro – Whispered over waves] A silly song, but love runs true... Still waiting here… just me and the blue. A Clown Serenade -by Glenn Duquette Fighters strong, she sways through space, Her spaceship hips in rhythmic grace. They send my lips a silly groove— A love so wild, it dares to move. She smiles—oh heavens, what a sight! The cutest clown in starry light. She’s grace, she’s pace, she’s cosmic flame, Intergalactic, wild, untame. Her rocket soul ignites my core, She spins my sprocket, begs for more. I know it’s wrong, I know it’s right— I want her love this clown-filled night. Come to me, my sweet confetti, Let’s dine by candles, stars so steady. On bayside nights and whispered dreams, We sail where only starlight beams. A fantasy, just you and me, Feeding grapes and pomegranate seed. Juice on lips that drip so red— You're my clown, enough said. You're melody, you're flight and flare, Rhapsody in circus air. We flip, we spin like acrobats, In love’s big top—no looking back. Morning sparrows hum our theme, As I invent another dream— Where wind-blown breezes stir my pen, And whisper where we've always been. Sultry hips, your silent cue, To fall in love again with you. You swing, I swoon—your signal calls, To pull me in as starlight falls. Oh, honk my nose, you darling sprite, Let music paint our world so bright! Together we defend with flair— Laughter, joy, beyond compare. Above the clouds in ballooned delight, We fly through rainbows, day and night. To a world where no one frowns— Just silly love and painted clowns. They say we’re odd, that we’re absurd, But love like ours reshapes the world. And when I see your knowing eye, I know that clowns—like us—can fly. Author Glenn S Duquette See my work on Amazon and B&N Whispers from Yesterday: Poetry of the Heart by Glenn S. A Song for My Love Verse 1 Oh morning light, I love you so, Your eyes are where my heart will go. Longing softly through the dawn, With every breath, my soul is drawn. So I sing this song for you, my love. Verse 2 When I hold you close to me, The world below fades silently. We’re floating high where dreams belong, The wind itself becomes our song. Let me see you, my love. Chorus Sing with me, a sweet refrain, Our hearts entwined beyond the rain. Up so high where stars still gleam, Drifting softly in our dream. You and me, my only one— Our song, our love, our rising sun. Verse 3 Beneath us, fields of silver green, A tender earth, so calm, serene. The air is warm, your hand in mine, The sky repeats our love divine. Just you and me, in this perfect time. Bridge The orchids bloom and winds will sigh, The world turns gently as we fly. No need to speak, no need to say, Your heart replies in its own way. Chorus Sing with me, this melody, Of endless love and harmony. Up so high, we drift, we stay, Where time and sorrow fade away. You and me, forever strong— My heart, my life, my love, my song. Outro Hand in hand, across the blue, Every dream begins with you. This song’s for you, my love so true— Forever, I’ll be singing you. The K-Cup Blues mail.google.com/mail/u/0?ui=… Verse 1 Well, the sun’s peeking in, but I’m stuck in low gear, Chores all lined up, but I ain’t moving near. I’m staring at the list, priority one, But without dark coffee, nothing’s getting done. My old bones creak like a rusty screen door, Need one K-Cup, maybe two or three more. Chorus I’ve got them K-Cup Blues, staring at the news, Whoopi and Joey got too many views. The world’s gone crazy, prices out of sight, But French Vanilla’s gonna make it all right. Pour me a cup before I lose my mind, Leave that crazy old world behind. Verse 2 The dogs are up, hunting for a treat, I say, “Manners first, boys, let me find my feet.” They’re ready for the yard while the brew runs fast, I grab my cane, hoping caffeine lasts. Leashes on, we’re out in the chill, They’re tugging and pulling with wild-dog will. Sniffing and scratching for their favorite spot, Thank heaven people don’t behave like that lot! Verse 3 Jenny Craig meals are trying their best, But a chocolate cupcake puts ’em to the test. With Breakfast Blend kicking, I’m feeling my flaws, My thighs start clapping and breaking the laws. Then the phone rings with a sales-pitch twitch, “Extended warranty?” Man, what a glitch. That car’s in the scrapyard, tucked into bed, I’m a dollar short and a day late instead. Bridge Aaron Rodgers is talking, stay or go? J-Lo’s got jeans she’s ready to show. Gas is too high for a Dunkin’ run, So I’ll haunt my kitchen till the morning’s done. Outro Doctor says tea is the gentle way home, So I sip chamomile when the night winds roam. Milk in the mug and a sleepy-time blend, Till tomorrow morning starts it again… With them K-Cup Blues, Yeah, them K-Cup Blues.
