Ever since my first thesis on
$KINS, the reason I’ve continued following this project hasn’t been the chart
It’s been the team’s ability to consistently ship
$KINS has gone from around $1M to a $19M ATH since my first write-up, but what interests me even more is that Kintara may be opening up an entirely new GameFi meta on Solana
Over the past few weeks, I’ve started noticing more and more projects moving in a similar direction, such as
$ISLANDS,
$FRAG, and several others that have already reached multi-million dollar valuations
It feels like the market is slowly becoming interested again in projects with real games, real players, and real economies
Looking at what the Kintara team has accomplished recently, it’s not hard to see why
In just the past few weeks, they have :
> Launched Server 5 and Server 6 to support rapidly growing player demand
> Optimized backend infrastructure to reduce latency and handle more concurrent users
> Introduced the Housing System
> Added the Banking System
> Launched the Pet Shop along with new cosmetics
> Added Smithing
> Continued expanding the world with new maps, biomes, and upcoming boss content
What I like is that most of these updates aren’t designed purely to generate hype
They are actual improvements that make the game better and help the in-game economy function more efficiently
And the current numbers reflect that :
> Over 900 concurrent players
> Around 9,500 monthly active users
> Servers regularly reaching capacity with waiting queues forming
To be honest, very few gaming projects on Solana today are dealing with scaling challenges because they have too many players.
Most are still trying to find their first users
Kintara, on the other hand, is busy figuring out how to serve even more users
That’s the difference
I shared my thesis on
$KINS very early
And today, what keeps my attention isn’t the move from $1M to $19M
It’s the fact that every time I come back to check on the project, the team has shipped something new
