At Torch, we’re grateful for the many years, the incredible clients, and the projects that have shaped our journey.
For Mike, this one hits close to home. Born in Lubbock, a Texas Tech grad, and now with a son who’s also a Red Raider, the Double T has always been part of his life.
Partnering with Texas Tech to create new logos for the Masked Rider, Raider Red, and new supporting marks has been an honor and a dream come true.

We recently worked with Texas Tech Athletics to develop a new series of sports-specific Raider Red poses.
The goal was to create marks that capture the personality and energy of Raider Red while giving individual Texas Tech programs poses that fit their sport. As with any mascot work, the challenge is balancing character, motion, and clarity so the marks reproduce well across everything from uniforms to social media.
It’s always fun to spend time with a character as recognizable as Raider Red.

Mascots are more than marks. They are identities.
We have been incredibly fortunate to create mascots for programs and organizations that care deeply about who they are and how they are represented.
These characters live on uniforms, fields, courts, and in moments that matter. They get cheered, debated, defended, and loved, and that responsibility is something we truly value.
We are grateful for the trust, proud of the work, and still having a lot of fun
bringing these personalities to life.
