The thing about Kingdom Hearts is that if you didn't get on the train in the 00's, then you simply are left behind. It is too corny to work without the context of operating in a world of myspace-era truthisms, and its thrills can be found in other franchises with less homework.

One of my primary issues with invincible is Clancy Brown voiced Lex in the DCAU and I think he should have been Thragg. He’s too significant a big bad voice from my childhood and when I hear him I just think he should be in charge.

His run at Marvel from 2000 to 2012 is undefeated. Genuinely some of the best comics of that era and a foundational part of my childhood growing up.
His late Marvel work is pretty hit or miss. And less said about his DC work, the better.

The fact that there is this overwhelmingly positive reaction to Speed Racer on here and JJ Abrams is working on a reboot for Apple is further fuel for my theory that Alan Moore (a wizard) or John Constantine (he exists) cursed him when he was trying to do Justice League Dark.
