Tautness and body line. Also, being relaxed but athletically engaged. We don't muscle the water, we work with it.
Sometimes we take for granted to foundations for things. I love playing around with floating. Body awareness/movement and body line are key in a sport like swimming. Who can challenge their floating skills?

Why we training too hard all the time does not actually make you stronger--it inhibits aerobic fitness (which is key for triathlon racing).
👏 Chronic exposure to lactate = * Decreased fatty acid transport * Increased free radical production * Bad news! Our focus should be on easy training that develops strong, functional mitochondria that can keep lactate levels managed.

Age group athletes take note: concern yourself with the process and execution of your training and racing and the results will come. Next time you say "not the race I wanted", ask yourself why, and what was it that you wanted in the first place? A result?
