4-0 into 4-3 due countless rng factors. But this has been the running thing for me in the very few tournaments I played, which made me understand the pattern. I believe it might be useful for some people who had the same issue so give it a read if u want, after this I will just turn X off for a little while.
When it comes to rng, if you found yourself in that situation so many times during a season path, either short or long, luck it might be a big part but not the only one. Probably you did not lock the most effective lead for the field, probably your team required going through those RNGs and tricky coinflips in order to work. Probably you did not test enough to figure out safer lines onto specific match ups as well. I am saying that because I am the first one that admits I had not done my homework properly in these few tours. And tbh, it was due to job related reasons much more than laziness.
The difference has been evident. When I prepared the tours properly, I always made a cut or at least Day 2 -- even if sometimes I've been unlucky. In the last few tournaments I just did not prepare anything properly.
It's disappointing because when it mattered nothing went on my favor at all, quite the opposite. But I have to be honest to myself and say that if I had the time and the mental energies to do the Bologna 24 prep, the Turin 2023 prep or the Bologna 25 prep I could have been able to gather much more than a bunch of mid results. But it is what it is.
Take care folks, see you soon 👋
