I was shocked yesterday I went to vote early in the small county I live in Iowa and had to stand in line. At my advanced age the people in the auditors office was very helpful. People are definitely turning out.

Asking Iowa State lawmakers why am I paying 48 cents a gallon more for the same gas from the same compay that they're paying Ankeny. I feel like I'm being gouged. I would like some explanation.

At one time in my life I worked in a manufacturing plant with 15,000 people. I don't think it possible without a Union contract. The Union created stability and safety. It was hard work but paid well. But it was nice to have the protection of a union.

E 88 2.77 this morning 52 cent spread between E88 and E87 in Oelwein Ia. That is the large spread l have seen in a long time.

I find it hard to believe but John Deere shipping Iowa jobs to Mexico. We haven't heard a word from Iowa's Congress people, senators or our governor.
