Working on my mental trading game. Here's a tip that's really helped:
Look at your entry candle. Then look at the candles following it. Think about how they were created in real time.
Ask yourself "what would those candles do to me emotionally with heat on?"

Say you enter on the 10 minute candle close here (green line)
You put your stop under the wick of that candle (red line)
Look at that bottom wick of the candle after it.
Trading 1 ES mini contract, you would have had to sit there and watch $262.50 go bye bye ๐

How would that make you feel? Would you be tempted to sell early to resist more loss? How can you control that emotion and trust the process?
I've been asking myself these types of questions and it's really helping the brain ๐ง withstand the stressors of the market.

$TSLA just kissed the YTD AVWAP today literally to the penny. Was able to enter $TSLZ (2x short TSLA) off this rejection for a nice little trade.
@alphatrends (Brian Shannon's) book "Maximum Trading Gains with Anchored VWAP" has helped my trading more than you can imagine. Highly recommend.

I read The Tao of Trading by @simon_ree recently, and it was a great book.
Easy to digest, engaging, and insightful.

After these chapters, Simon dives into his options trading strategy. The strategy in the book is well thought out and easy to understand.
A novice trader could pick this book up and feel comfortable in the market after they're done reading it.

I would recommend this book to anyone interested in trading. There's some pretty basic stuff in it catered too the new trader, but there's excellent viewpoints in it for traders of all skill levels.
