UK PM STARMER: THERE ARE MEASURES HERE FOR 16 AND 17 YEAR OLDS SO THERE WON'T BE A CLIFF EDGE

More utter madness from this useless government. Why not stop the boats, or tackle knife crime, or drive a pro growth agenda or 'make work pay' or deal with the out of control youth unemployment. Nope 'let's put in place a law that 90% of kids will work around'.
STARMER says kids will get around his social media ban (as the vast majority do in Australia) but argues a law’s ineffectiveness should not prevent its introduction.

Have we already got to two-tier social media bans?

I will take teenagers seconds to work around Starmer's latest clamp down on freedom. The sooner his buffoon leaves office the better. The country is falling apart & all he wants to do is restrict freedom. Let parents be parents FFS.

Our welfare costs unsustainable. If Labour do not tackle this issue they will have to continue to raise taxes. The bond markets will not allow them to keep endlessly borrow more. The issue is Starmer is too weak & Burnham will not take on his back benchers. It's a doom loop.
Our Armed Forces cannot defend Britain on empty promises and delayed plans. Keir Starmer’s Defence Ministers resigned as his plan falls short. Their warnings are extremely serious. I’ve written to the PM offering the support of my MPs to vote to cut welfare to fund defence.

Thankfully the Greens under Zach have peaked. Zach (David Paulden) has turned the Greens into some kind of raged, envious, ideologists IMO
In light of Elon Musk becoming the world's first trillionaire Zack Polanski, "How hopeful are you that we can move to wealth taxes around the world?" Gabriel Zucman, "Sometimes there's a temptation to think it's too late, that the power of oligarchic forces is too extreme. The ownership of the media. That we can't do anything. That we're kind of stuck" "I don't view it that way" "The question is whether it's a matter of months or a matter of years" "Which country is going to be the one starting the movement, leading by example?" "I count on you. I count on the UK"

This guy would be way better than Starmer or Burnham IMO. We need someone who will be a driving force for good & part of that is getting rid of Miliband IMO. Labour will mess it up though & lean further left & bring in Burnham.
Energy policy is a security issue and not an environmental one, Al Carns has said in a veiled attack on Ed Miliband’s net zero policies. 🖇️ telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/06…

Sums up the useless governments we've had & the incompetence of the civil service IMO. The waste of taxpayers money in the UK is staggering.

Starmer's a champagne socialist. He likes living at No.10, having private security, his chequers weekends away, chauffeur driven car, lots of international trips on a private plane, red carpet on arrival, posh dinners with fine wine. Of course he won't give it up easily.
Keir Starmer says it's his "duty" to remain as PM and will fight any leadership challenge "It's not vanity. It's not stubbornness. It's duty"

BOOM understand this weeks update has deferred a quick takeover, but this company is high growth, profitable, debt free & is going to have another record year, blowing the doors off.

Good on her. The cabinet has been nothing but pathetic frankly. They need to stand up & be counted & put country first. Starmer is no longer leading the country & the country is falling apart.
🚨 Yvette Cooper is on the brink of resigning from Keir Starmer’s Cabinet.

If we are privileged enough to serve, Labour's number one priority in government will be to grow Britain’s economy.

Utter lunacy. You cannot run a country like this. Welfare has gone totally out of control & the Labour party has morphed into the 'Welfare Party'. Vote Labour out.
UK’s total welfare budget is forecast at £333.7 billion for 2025/2026. UK's core defence budget is £62.2 billion for 2025/2026
