At any given moment, there are 2 LAPD helicopters in the sky. Most days, in total there are only 4 hours of the day that there aren’t 2 LAPD 🚁s flying.
LAPD 🚁s cost almost $3k/flight hour and log about 16k flight hours/year. They cost $128k/day, or almost $50 million/yr.

The national rate of unemployment for people with disabilities is about 12.6 % versus the 5.8 % national average. Not to mention disabled people make about 66 cents on the dollar vs non-disabled Americans.

In 2020 it was said that a disabled family would have to make an additional 17,600 dollars a year to benefit from the same standard of living as a non-disabled household.
