Trans Mountain welcomed members of neighbouring communities to our Burnaby Terminal. We hosted information sessions and guided tours around our facility, highlighting some of the actions we take to support safe and reliable operations including emergency preparedness measures and environmental stewardship programs. Building meaningful relationships with the communities where we live and work is important to Trans Mountain. That’s why opportunities like this matter—allowing us to share what we do, how we do it and why it’s important. #CommunityEngagement #PipelineSafety #TransMountain

Protecting the environment means protecting every species — even ones small enough to fit on your fingertip. During the @TransMtn Expansion Project, environmental teams relocated endangered Oregon Forestsnails, restored habitat and continue long-term monitoring to help the species thrive. The work also uncovered new learnings, including how copper mesh fencing can help keep snails safely outside active construction zones. This World Environment Day, we’re recognizing the ongoing work supporting environmental stewardship across our system. Learn more: transmountain.com/news/purpo… #WorldEnvironmentDay #TransMountain

It’s Canadian Environment Week – a time to recognize our shared responsibility to care for the environment. 🌎 Healthy forests are critical to strong ecosystems and supporting wildlife habitats. As part of our environmental stewardship efforts, Trans Mountain supports tree planting and restoration initiatives that contribute to rebuilding and maintaining these natural systems across the pipeline corridor. 🌱 #EnvironmentWeek #EnvironmentalStewardship #TransMountain

Canada is at an inflection point. At the 21st Annual Calgary Energy Roundtable Conference, @TransMtn CEO Mark Maki shared a compelling perspective on energy as a lever for trade diversification - and why the window of opportunity is now. He highlighted Canada’s advantage: a clear path to Asian markets without the same geopolitical bottlenecks seen elsewhere, and a very real case for diversifying oil exports toward Asia. But opportunity alone isn’t enough. To grow and diversify trade, we need to move forward with critical infrastructure including investments in pipelines and ports. This is about more than energy – it’s about advancing a national goal to grow and diversify Canada’s trade.

At the @CalgaryChamber today, Jennifer Pierce, @TransMtn CAO, discussed what has to be true for Canada to build the next generation of energy infrastructure. As Prime Minister Carney noted in recent days, Canada has a real opportunity to get major projects moving with greater clarity and ambition and is taking steps to better align policy, regulation and execution. We need to challenge ourselves. That’s how we build bigger. Faster. And for the long term.
