Al-Jolani's fake Al-Qaeda story, proposed by no other than Al-Zawahiri, is to please the West and to get Syria in the right position.
Looking at the situation in Afghanistan, Syria, Mali, Yemen and Somalia, Al-Qaeda is right on track to achieve their goals.

In March 2025 alone, the Taliban terrorist organization received $125 million in U.S. taxpayer cash-all while babysitting Al-Qaida and ISIS, hosting America’s sworn enemies like a daycare, funded by U.S. taxpayer dollars that are supposedly meant for “counterterrorism.”

What many don't know is that Tehrik-e-Taliban (TTP) was created on Al-Qaeda's request, not the Taliban.
TTP is much closer/related and aligned with AQ than with the Taliban.
It were TTP fighters who protected Abdallah, Saad and Hamza Bin Laden when they returned to Afghanistan.

A military intelligence officer in Mogadishu told me that MI5 had a higher chance of capturing or killing the British White Widow in 2026, but due to Saudi and UAE tensions, it's unlikely she will be captured because AQAP will regain the territories it lost. Let that sink in.

Breaking News: According to intel sources — and this one’s a facepalm for the ages — the infamous British White Widow, wanted for her role in the 2005 London bus bombing, has been confirmed to be hiding in Marib, Yemen.
She reportedly moved there in 2021 and has since been living under the protection of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
Meanwhile, MI5 genuinely believed she was lurking in Uganda or Kenya — which means Western intelligence has been looking in all the wrong places for years.
Talk about a multi-year wild goose chase across the wrong continent.

Al-Qaeda isn't your new friend, they are your worst enemy and you only saw the beginnings (incl. 9/11) of what is coming for you.
If you don't recognize your enemy then you are doomed to fail.

2016, Al-Zawahiri tells the world what Al-Qaeda will do with Syria.
He first handpicked Jolani and appointed him to be the Emir of Al-Qaeda in Syria (first Al-Nusra, then HTS).
Everything he said came true.
The best way to understand Global Jihad is to listen to them.
