If you are in town for the @jackjohnson show at PNC on June 21st  , we are showing his new SURFILMUSIC documentary film Directed by Emmett Malloy at The Baronet Theater on @theasburyhotel Rooftop this Saturday June 20 with proceeds going towards local surf charities ! We are also preparing a new gallery Exhibition at the @Transparent_AP featuring a collection of my favorite Jack Johnson photos , most of which have never been printed or shared before ! Jack and I have been friends since 2002 . The new gallery Exhibit is going to open on Sunday June 21st (before the PNC show) at 12 pm noon . Join us as we celebrate , talk about the new documentary and spin some of the new soundtrack . March 16 has become a pretty legendary date around here ! On this day in 1999 , I got my first call to photograph Bob Dylan . Later that same afternoon , the phone rang again and I got my first offer to photograph Bruce Springsteen . Come on !! Fast forward a couple years and I received a call to photograph Tom Petty , and my Johnny Cash Solitary Man Album Cover as well as Willie Nelson’s Milk Cow Blues Cover came out around March 16 . And on a more personal note , today also marks 59 years since Maria’s parents immigrated to the United States from Cuba — something worth celebrating all on its own !
