Open-worlds now feel like a bunch of chores needed to do before you make it to your next main objective. Even most side missions are just chores because every new side mission you get is on the way or at the destination of the next main quest mission.

You can't really ignore them because the developers locked important upgrades behind the side tasks.
It should feel like you discovered it on your own, instead it feels like a mom going "finish all your homework or you will get no dessert."

Hey @GoreAndPerkins if you don't have an idea for Survivor Series in Universe Mode, I have a wonderful one. 2 8 person War Games matches, one women and one mens, winners advance to a fatal 4 way at the next PLE to fight for the number 30 position.

The two losing teams will also get a fatal 4 way match at the event after Suvivor Series. These ones are called the #1 challange. A normal fatal 4 way but the person who gets pinned or submited will be #1 in the Rumble while the one who got the pin will get a World title/2

So, I have been playing Dark Souls 2 and have played quite a bit of it and I have reached two conclusions.
1. this game is very over hated and deserves more love
2. It really feels like it sould have been called Demon's Souls 2 instead of Dark Souls 2.
