With a tool belt and a head lamp, a video partner, and a new batch of songs. I saw that Franky from @americanpickers passed away yesterday. Two days in a row now of legends in their fields passing. Another quick story: I was playing the Barbary Coast the night American Pickers were filming in town and Franky and the crew wanted to catch some live music. They were steered to Barbary Coast and they caught the end of our show and then we sat and had some PBR’s and I listened to some of the best picker’s stories from the source himself. The way he talked you could tell how much he loved finding old rusty gold and giving it a second life. Rest in peace Franky. 🏍️
