I am beyond words about the commutation of Leonard Peltier. His release from prison signifies a measure of justice that has long evaded so many Native Americans for so many decades. - you have to win to wield power
- you can’t “teach your side a lesson” by helping them lose
- other minority groups want to be white & will vote alongside white interests even when it hurts them
- black people consistently vote pragmatically

Two of my biggest inspirations visited the @SEVLTER & likely passed my field sites! Since 1999 we have monitored the changes in reproduction for piñon, juniper, and oaks. I play a small part but nevertheless elated that @SecDebHaaland & @Rep_Stansbury visited this special place.
