Professor Peter de Lange (@UnitecNZ) has worked with @GTA_GTSG to produce @IUCNRedList assessments for the indigenous trees of Aotearoa | New Zealand based on their New Zealand Threat Classification System status.
Costa Rica is well known for its rich biodiversity, including trees, which comprise around 25% of all vascular plants. Over the last 5 years Nelson Zamora has been involved in the assessment of Costa Rican trees, with over 80% now assessed.
@GTA_GTSG is mobilising conservation action and planning to protect species. In Colombia 7 species of threatened Magnolia have been included in the designation of 5 different Key Biodiversity Areas.
