I have nothing but respect and love for BAYC and am a believer that NFT industry leaders need to support one another to push the space forward. I just want to see NFTs win
But this is quite clearly a disconnect in one direction or another. I expect this gap to narrow sooner than later

What other people see: “BAYC is now almost 2x above Pudgy Penguins”
What I see: “Pudgy Penguins is up 13% today on the backs of BAYC flying off the shelves”
You can criticize Penguins but there’s no denying that the liquidity coming from Apes rn likely goes to Penguins first (if outside Yuga ecosystem)
They’ve solidified themselves as the no. 3 NFT project out there and I don’t see that changing anytime soon
