So the Book of Mormon basically says that Jesus spread the gospel and established new, additional apostles over in the Americas...
The problem is...there's no evidence of the gospel being spread?
The original 12 Apostles spread the gospel, passed on apostolic succession, started churches, etc
Christianity turned the world upside down entirely - it's undeniable the impact it had on the world. Not just historically speaking, but spiritually as well...
But the Americas?
Nothing. Not a trace. No manuscripts. No letters to the churches, not evidence of the gospel being spread whatsoever...
Why?
Did they fail? If they did fail and that's the argument the LDS folks want to take - that then means Christ established not one, but TWO different churches and BOTH of them failed?!
Diabolically incoherent, right? What do you think?
