Cal is teeing off in Tacoma Love to see this. Desperately need to get back to Seattle and have him join the club.
Cal Raleigh does it again. 2nd HR today & 5th on his rehab assignment.

It’s funny doing any digging on Colt Emerson, who largely has not put up good basic numbers but still has a .884 OPS and is clearly helping this offense consistently.

One takeaway here, Emerson should be an everyday infielder, whatever that may mean.
Colt Emerson, saving a run. With the infield in, he twists from one knee and with a quick transfer to the plate -- coupled with a quick tag from Mitch Garver. The out is upheld after a Nationals challenge, too.

He’s still rocking, lowering his already insane ERA
Kade Anderson is awesome. Final line: 6.2IP, 3H, 0R, 0BB, 6K, 13 whiffs, 8 groundouts, 80 pitches, 55 strikes. In 11 professional starts: 6-0, 1.13ERA, 55.2IP, 30H, 7BB, 82K.

This road trip was always going to be tough, but it’s the way they’re losing that feels within reach. Bummer but not totally shocking

Remember when there was a debate about whether Colt Emerson would actually help the club? Seems pretty obvious we already have an answer.

Kudos to Luis he’s buckled down and only has 52 pitches through four innings.
I don’t love this version of Luis Castillo

This gets more interesting every start for Anderson and every start we’re seeing from the five slot imo
Kade Anderson throws a 1-2-3 top of the first.

The starting rotation has completely flipped over. Legit no way to see this coming
Bryce Miller and Emerson Hancock were seen by most as the Mariners’ 5 and 6 starters coming into the year and they’ve been their 2 most reliable arms lately

Jesus that is an insane list
Bryce Miller has completed 35 innings this year, allowing just six runs on 20 hits with 36 strikeouts and just five walks. Per Stathead, only 12 pitchers have thrown 35 or more innings while allowing six or fewer runs and averaging a strikeout per inning in their first six outings of a season since 2020: Shane Bieber (2020) Clayton Kershaw (2020) Jacob deGrom (2021) Pablo López (2022) Gerrit Cole (2023) Sonny Gray (2023) Andrew Abbott (2023) Ranger Suárez (2024) Hunter Brown (2025) Nolan McLean (2025) José Soriano (2026) Shohei Ohtani (2026)

I think Bryce is off to a hot start, what do you think? Dare I say… All-Star?

Double clicking here on Bryce’s ability to get lefties out at one of the best rates of his career, his splitter has been even better than before, really helping his slider be a pitch
