Students didn't just learn about the strategy; they spoke with the staff about its massive significance in advancing the legal system and reducing stress for victims and witnesses. ​The VIPER team is currently looking for volunteers from all walks of life to participate! This includes different ages, genders, and ethnicities to help build a comprehensive, fair database. ⭐️ Your 2026 - 27 Head Students! ⭐️ The Hustings event today was a huge success! The competition was on with so many excellent pitches from our candidates. 🇮🇹 ITALY TRIP 2026 🇮🇹 Week 2 has continued to be an incredible experience for for our students in Italy. It started with a trek up to Castle Telvana, where students were able to take in the sights of Borgo Valsugana from above. 🏰 Then the students travelled to Venice where they spent the day exploring the culture of the historic background of the incredible city. Following this, the students did well to avoid the thunderstorms ⛈️ and got the opportunity to spend time exploring Lake Garda and Verona. Here, they visited the renowned Romeo and Juliet balcony ❤️ and the arena that hosted the 2026 Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony. 🏅 Over the last two days, the students have visited the stunning village of Pergenie where they returned to work placements. Our students have been delivering skills and activities in different sports whilst making new friends with the Italian students. Finally, tomorrow the students are heading to Levico to visit Forte Benne and explore another beautiful village before the trips end! We would like to wholeheartedly thank our hosts at Ostello Sportivo and our host schools for allowing our students this incredible once in a lifetime opportunity! 👏

🇮🇹 ITALY 2026 🇮🇹 Our students have had a very exciting first couple of days in Italy! They have begun their work placements and enjoyed a wonderful group, Italian meal! The Governor and his team then delivered a specialised talk with our A-level Economics students who engaged in incredible discussions around monetary policy and developed a deeper understanding into the significance of their roles and responsibilities. 💬 From finances to career insights, the visit was an outstanding and inspiring experience for our students. 💬 TRINITY TALKS 💬 We were pleased to welcome Mike Maudsley, the CEO of Enfinium, to deliver a Trinity Talks to our students today. Enfinium is the UK's leading energy from waste operating company to use landfill for homegrown energy ♻️ Mike talked the students through his career journey from his origins in Halifax, to his positions in Oman and Dubai, before returning to his Yorkshire routes as the CEO of a multi-billion pound company! 💰💼 He also outlined his personal challenges within education as well as his experiences with the apprenticeship and university pathway. The talk encouraged students to have ambition, and demonstrated that success can come to those with strong work ethics as well as real determination and resilience in the face of set backs 💪. Throughout the entirety of last week, members of our Pupil Leadership Group displayed their courage and public speaking skills in Trinity . They all delivered personal pitches to the entire of their House community to hopefully be elected as House Captain. This is a huge achievement for all who put themselves forward! 😄 An extra well done to those students who were successfully voted in as the representative House Captain for their house! 👏👏 This is a significant milestone, as these individuals now have the opportunity to put themselves forward for the titles of Head Student which they will begin campaigning for soon. At TSFA today, we welcomed Mary McFadzean to speak to our Year 12 Humanities and Literature A-level students about how the specific skills they gain in these level three qualifications will benefit them in their future careers. 💼  Mary was later joined by MP Kate Dearden @katedeardenmp who talked them through her own career journey and explained how the skills she'd developed at sixth form had been significant to her success. ✨ Our students did us proud through their enthusiastic engagement throughout the session and particularly valued the extended Q&A, which provided an excellent opportunity to explore the world of politics and real‑world applications of their studies. #trinitysixthformacademy #humanitiescareers #futurethinking #careers

Today, TSFA got a dose of doggo cuddles thanks to a visit from the RSPCA. The star of the show was definitely Fudge, a gorgeous RSPCA rescue who showed us all exactly why adoption is so special. 🐶✨ ​Fudge's visit brought awareness about how to support the incredible work the RSPCA does every day. From the adoption process to local fundraising events for the animals in their care; there are so many ways to give support and care to these animals! ​In addition, our Charity PLG team was out in full force hosting a tasty bake sale to keep the momentum going! The annual Culture Week has started at TSFA with fun activities taking place across the week that are linked to the cultures within different continents! This has been organised by our Diversity Pupil Leadership Group! 👏 Today' the activities were centred around South America and the Caribbean and tomorrow will be focusing on South and East Asia! Our students had the invaluable opportunity today to take part in a revision session with Professor Jean March Lawton — a senior examiner and author of textbooks — gaining first-hand advice on what examiners are really looking for. From understanding mark schemes to refining exam technique, sessions like these give our students a real edge as they prepare for their exams. Keep up the good work guys - the count down is on.
