5 laps of caution in the *next* segment @nascar? Really? 20% minimum of it will be run under caution. This madness is getting old.

It feels like I'm staying up stupid late, but this Indycar race is worth it! I hope Ericsson can get back up there.

I think, I've had enough of modern nascar... There's just nothing positive for me anymore, and no hope it's going to get better so why do that to myself?

Gym person takes over the pullup/leg raise stand, does 0 reps, leaves to do something else.

Really happy with my choice to hit the gym and skip this nascar race. Sounds like the best choice.

If the Karmelo Anthony trial is your first self defense case a couple notes: -The defense has to raise elements of self defense, like the shove to say Anothny was under threat. This alone is not enough but it places a burden on the state to rebut so we heard a lot about it.

-I don't know what they will, or could respond with. -The defense will most likely call a use of force expert to try and frame the evidence more favorably to Anthony. -These have been witnesses who lost their friend and that is emotional, so usually cross is very mild.

For what it's worth (the same as you paid for it), I don't think there's enough from cross examinations to argue self defense. The defense needs to bring out something more. -After all this the state will have a rebuttal case to challenge what the defense presents. (end)

Ned Jarret embodied the very best of nascar. A gentlemen, absolute professional with the fans, great storyteller, and amazing wheelman. He retired after the 1966 with few peers in the win column and 2 championships proving him elite. Before being the GOAT athlete broadcaster.

I watched enough of Runkle to see that Reckless Ben has real legal trouble. Honestly I think actions of the cops are the bigger story here. Interfering with service of a lawsuit, illegal use of force, and possibly/probably false statements in reports. These are not small things.

Right now the smartest thing they *all* could do would be make an everyone walks away deal, no charges, no more suits, restore the collection or FMV appraised by an independent expert (and more, BAM). Police tend to be really bad about realizing when they crossed a line.

I really get annoyed at only half-think. EG: "zipper merge" There's a very basic reason it doesn't work right: because all the cars have to go through the exact same choke point regardless of merger method. Thus zipper merge can only do *worse* by having less room to merge.

The point at which this goes to single lane, the exact same number of cars are driving regardless of zipper or early merge. The so call wasted space doesn't solve the problem that slows traffic, it's a fixation on a non problem.

Denny hamlin consistently has the worst takes of anyone not named france for nascar. He's a pull up the ladder behind me boomer (state of mind, age irreverent) who actively fought to keep new teams out of the sport. He (an owner) wants shorter races for lower team expenses.

hamlin 100% jumped the restart, he's in to the back of bell at the start of the zone. Will nascar call that? I have my doubts.

I've called the nascar HoF a joke, and I probably will again in the future. But I want to try and explain something for the curious. Legacies of greatness transcend this supposed HoF, guys who made motorsports great and passed it on the next generation will be remembered...

The real, cross generation talents who made things great will have their stories echoed across the fandom. Slap will make videos on them, a legal channel on youtube will mention Smokey Yunick from time to time (steve lehto) That's true greatness, and transcends any private club.

The club can do what it wants, and I can laugh at it for having the most contrived possible reasoning.
