Don't ever attach yourself to someone romantically whose core values and desired lifestyle do not align with yours because - despite any delusions you may entertain - you cannot make it work. Do not bank on "learning to love" whatever the idea is.
I’m realizing a lot of gay men actually desire want to be parents. I’ve NEVER had that desire. like, EVER! But now I’m wondering is that a dealbreaker if I meet a man who checks most of my boxes but wants kids? I really thought this was just a hetero dilemma 🤦🏾‍♂️

Some of these actors have played characters with a 35-year-old wife and 10-year-old kid for over 20 years now. 😭
nothing more depicts the current star problems of hollywood than a 51 year old guy playing the part that was originally played by a 35 year old

So many gay men are incels who maneuver like they have a divine right to the men they want exactly when, where, and how they want them which is the reason for endless discourse you all constantly subject us to. It's Pride season for goodness sake. Go get fucked. Literally.
so many gay men can't admit to themselves that the reason they ghost and ignore people instead of just saying they're not interested is that they enjoy the feeling of being desired by someone whom they think is beneath them

The irony of gay men's ageism is that their narrow-minded, regressive attitudes are precisely the reason they will be doomed to the same "lonely, desperate" fate they so despise in elder queer men.

Call me the problem, but if I had to have a 5-10 minute meeting with a professor to prove the assignment I know I did myself was not AI-generated, I indeed would have an attitude because that absolutely would be like an additional assignment.

Tweets like this are why I stay in the house and don't talk to strangers because some of you are legitimately stupid.
Moonlight is a glorified DL love story, let it go yall…

No argument you make will convince anti-black racists of the intrinsic value of our existence as black people and merit of our accomplishments because they view our blackness itself as inferior. That is what makes the conversation about Yale med school admissions so useless.

And if I said that the council members who voted for the data center should be lined up against a wall and [redacted], would I be wrong?
This is what local accountability looks like: In Festus, Missouri, a town of about 14,000 people, the city council quietly approved a $6 billion Ai data center to be built on 360 acres just north of Highway 67. Residents say they were never properly heard. Meetings were held in private. Documents were released too late. A week after the approval, the town held a regular election. Voter turnout jumped 129 percent. Every single council member who had voted yes lost in a landslide. A 70-year-old first-time candidate beat an 8-year incumbent by 40 percentage points. Now a recall petition is circulating to remove the mayor as well. The lawsuit against the city is already filed. Has your local government ever been held accountable like this? 🔥

Many such women have a fundamental lack of understanding of what patriarchy truly is, so the entire praxis for their feminism becomes nothing but criticism of men - frequently devoid of consciousness of queerness, race, class, immigration status, disability, etc.
being a feminist and homophobic

Everything becomes a game of one-upmanship in which they try to prove their intrinsic virtue over men - all while being queerphobic, racist, classist, xenophobic, ableist, etc. because being a man always will be worse to them. Gag is a lot of them are misogynistic too.

Watching women underplay their homophobia, as if gay men weren't once gay boys - many of whom contended with anti-gay violence from mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunties, etc. for not performing masculinity to their liking - has been....something to say the least.

Sometimes people need to remind you of the times they've come through for you because some of you have a habit of taking without giving, consciously or unintentionally. The flip side of this is a decision to ghost you altogether, which still would put you in your feelings.
Replying to @zionszzn
Sometimes you need to say it because people be using actions and time to manipulate you.. you can’t do things for me I didn’t ask for and then throw it in my face if you don’t get your way on something

There's nuance to apply to this conversation that makes both⬆️⬇️ perspectives valid, but some of you lot gladly accept unsolicited benevolence and won't even offer the person who gave it a Pepsi Cola as a thank you. x.com/i/status/2049876628671…

“I never asked you to” is such a nasty thing to say after benefiting from someone’s time and love.

Globally, indigenous peoples historically had ethical ways of consuming virtually everything nature provides. Then Europeans colonized the world and made everything an industry.
Billie Eilish says eating meat is WRONG and people can’t claim to love animals if they eat meat 😳👀

I haven't even seen the movie, yet I know exactly what the OP means because it's the same complaint I have about many period pieces produced in the 2020s. Sometimes the actors look too modern in the face. It's not about costumes or styling but actual facial features/structure.
there isn’t a single person in that crowd that looks like they existed in the year 1987 lol

Y'all keep saying Whitley because she came from old money, but she wound up with a nigga who had her working as his maid and wearing yesterday's curtains as a Thanksgiving dress, so that's an immediate no for me. She let Dwayne make her look foolish too often for me to agree.😂
Who was the bougiest ?

My lukewarm take is that their donuts were always terrible. Just airy sugar with a little dough mixed in.
The fall off of Krispy Kreme is devastating

As someone who never watched the show, I have no dog in any fight regarding "Malcolm in the Middle." But as a gay man who was a gay boy, I can assure you that queer kids pretended to be straight because y'all were as homophobic as children as you now are as adults.
