Not that we needed confirmation, but the string of excuses they provided for why they murdered the LAF officers highlights the reality that despite their infinite bold claims, they never know who they’re actually killing along the “yellow line” in Gaza or Southern Lebanon. There is no verification process, the yellow line is constantly shifting and most importantly, there is no real geographic “safe zone” for their victims to abide by. They will murder you and call you a dangerous armed militant regardless, even if you’re their ally.

הרכב נסע במרחב לחימה פעיל ומפונה, עליו התקבלה גם התרעה על ירי לעבר כוחות צה"ל במרחב. בנוסף, ממידע המצוי בידי צה"ל עולה כי חיזבאללה פועל באופן נרחב באזור זה.
לאחר הזיהוי ובעקבות המידע ההתרעתי והסכנה לכוחות, הותקף הרכב.
מבדיקה ראשונית עולה כי ברכב שהו שני קצינים וחייל של צבא לבנון. האירוע מתוחקר.
נדגיש כי מדובר במרחב לחימה אשר דורש תיאום תנועה עם צה"ל.
צה"ל מתחקר את האירוע ויפיק לקחים בהתאם. כוחות צה"ל פועלים נגד ארגון הטרור חיזבאללה ולא נגד צבא לבנון
