The noise is missing the big picture. → 50% of global stablecoin value settled on Ethereum. → 70% of tokenized assets incoming. → Default for high-value DeFi. → No competing chain close on any dimension. I started writing about Ethereum about a year ago. It happened to line up perfectly with the whole InfoFi wave, so ofcourse CT immediately assumed I had some incentive. They weren’t totally wrong. There was an incentive, just not the one everyone was looking for. I’ve been putting 15-20% of my salary into making educational videos about @ethereum since december and it is not for the views or the money but because I really believe there are people out there who want to understand how this stuff actually works but can’t find content that speaks to them clearly. I know hot takes and opinion posts do way better. The algorithm loves drama, not explanations but the person trying to figure out how Ethereum upgrades actually ship or what MEV really means or why something like slot time reduction even matters. That person deserves solid content too. That’s the gap I’m trying to fill and it is not because it performs well but because it matters.

There's been a big shake-up in Ethereum land in the past months. Big bummer to see Ryan take a backseat - Bankless did an amazing job educate millions (myself included) while being very entertaining. Their optimism also influenced the name "growthepie". While the news are sad, I also believe Ethereum and ETH will come out stronger out of all this: - ETH is a fully digital productive asset - Ethereum is freedom tech - Layer 2s are smart business models Others will step into the roles of Ryan and all the great EFers that left - with new enthusiasm and new ideas. Ethereum is built for this.

Day I return, Bankless sells all their ETH. God damn, we actually may send for real.

Onchain profit just went vertical on @Celo, reaching a new daily high of $18.6k Annualized, that would be $6.785 Million! What caused this? ▸ One contract generated $9,669 in gas fees yesterday. We are still trying to identify it, but it seems to be sending small amounts of Celo to many addresses: 0xdE39b40E7fdb033Eb1104d2501e0F758696046D5 ▸ We have seen an increase in MicroTransfers for stablecoins. This accounts for ~$6k in gas fee yesterday.
