lunch workout on a friday just hits different. 4 miles done. stress levels down. mood levels up.
also, i’ll never take for granted that this is my work gym. having access to a space like this makes it a whole lot harder to come up with excuses.
weekend starts … now
happy friday!
sometimes i think we underestimate how much the little things matter. a few better choices. a little more effort. one more day of showing up. then one day you look back and realize that’s what changed everything.
somewhere along the way i became the person who wakes up early, goes for walks, runs 10ks, and works from a treadmill desk. didn’t see that one coming a year ago.
the thing about me is if i tell myself i’m gonna do something, it’s getting done. keeping your word to yourself is a form of self-respect. every time you follow through, you build trust with the one person you have to live with 24/7.
day 22 of waking up an hour early.
spent my birthday the same way i’ve spent the last 21 mornings: walking before sunrise.
not the most exciting habit. just one that’s quietly making my life better.
22 days down. 78 to go.
nothing beats a friday night when the house is clean, the hair is washed, the legs are shaved, the candles are lit, and the only decision left is what movie to watch.
day 19 of waking up an hour early.
starting to realize the extra hour isn’t about productivity. it’s about quiet roads, a clear head, and getting 6,000 steps in before most people are even awake.
19 days down. 81 to go.
