The Great Lakes Christian Film Festival in Buffalo, NY, Oct 17-20, 2024. Shawn Greene, the founder of the
@glcff , along with his family and volunteers, did an outstanding job putting on this 10th annual film festival. I enjoyed watching the films. Connecting with and learning from all the filmmakers.
Highlights:
- The Orthodox double-feature screening of All Saints and
@SacredAlaska Film. Loved the visuals and story of Sacred Alaska, it’s a must watch!
- Max Pitchkites joined us in Buffalo. Max drove from Bloomington to support the films. Thanks Max, great seeing you!
- Sacred Alaska’s director, Simon Scionka, and I discussed many topics. It was a true blessing.
- Amal Hanania and I won 2nd place for best producer in a feature documentary. Amal, your medal is on it’s way!
- All Saints won best writer for a feature documentary.
- Sacred Alaska won the best director, best cinematography, and 3rd place, best editing for a feature documentary.
- My wife, Karolyn, joined for the awards ceremony and we found our way to Niagara Falls, Highmark Stadium home of the NFL Buffalo Bills and then finished where buffalo wings originated, Anchor Bar. We had a great time.
Thank you
#GLCFF.
