I finally got the chance to see THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU (2026) in the theatre yesterday and WHAT A RIDE! What a FUN little adventure! If you haven't seen it yet, go check it out! It's actually really, really fun. Just like SOLO was in 2018. Stop paying attention to the cynical "critics" out there who scoff at every movie with their lame, nubby thumbs down these days. Instead, you know, go form YOUR OWN OPINION. Novel, right?
And yeah, it was an extended The Mandalorian episode indeed, but is that not exactly the point? Wasn't The Mandalorian series tremendous? (it was!) ...and now you get to see a movie(!) about more adventures in that Universe! What's wrong with that? Oh wait, nothing, lol.
A visual masterpiece, I tremendously enjoyed that an early design concept from the early 1980s by Ralph McQuarrie of a humongous dragonsnake finally came to life in such vivid form. So totally enjoyable! And harrowing! Holy moly.
As a movie score buff, I also thought Ludwig Göransson's musical score was solidly bizarre and awesome all at the same time.
To the HUNDREDS of people who made this movie a reality, THANK YOU. This old Star Wars fan ate up every single frame. Just like he ate up every single frame of SOLO. That one too, was so radically awesome, contrary to what "everyone says".
We are so, so lucky to be around for these installments! Had you told me as a little kid in 1983, that after Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Return of the Jedi, that there will be countless more SW movies, I would've laughed straight in your face ...while secretly hoping that maybe one day, maaaybe oooone day, they'd get around to doing the rumored sequels and prequels. ...but, as many of us remember, nothing happened for decades!
Again, we are so lucky to be around for these installments. Sure, some were clunkers (some say that about the prequels), but when you ask the kids who grew up with the prequels, they are AS EXCITED about Star Wars as the kids who grew up with the original trilogy. Think about that for at least one second next time, before just raging about like maniacs.
In case it's lost on anyone; these movies are primarily made for kids. 8-year-olds, rather. An 8-year-old does NOT have the same idiotic "demands and standards" a 48-year-old has who's still stuck in their mom's basement rage-baiting. Get a grip already. They're kids sci-fi adventure movies, not high cinema.
And here's a novel concept for ya; if you don't like it, don't watch. How about that? What compels you so hard to ruin the fun for others? Oh wait, because you have a giant black hole in your heart that is impossible to fill.
Comments are, as always, off. Not due to the lovely folks who have gathered on this page, but rather, because of the insufferable hooligans who don't know how to behave as gracious guests on someone else's page. They are the ones who, unfortunately, ruined it for you and everyone else. I refuse to have rage-baiting on any of my pages. Kids are reading, too, you know.

I'm heartbroken that the rumored already written sequel to SOLO hasn't yet seen the light of day. Apparently elements of that were taken and incorporated into The Mandalorian & Grogu movie, like, for example, Jabba's home planet, Nal Hutta. Can you imagine had we seen Han & Chewie battle hordes of massive Jabbas?! And yeah, I'll be first in line if a The Mandalorian & Grogu sequel should ever get made, which it should. I also am not giving up hope on a SOLO sequel. It was SO good!
