Chuck Todd's better looking, smarter, factually correct, "evil" (i.e., good) twin. My pronouns are "Super Straight/Pure Blood," and I identify as a billionaire.

With the proper context, the international poster for Supergirl is actually perfect.

While I'd be ecstatic to see the Snyderverse return, I doubt it will. I also understand why many DC fans don't like it and believe there was a better way forward for a DC film universe. The DCU is not it, though, and anyone saying otherwise is either delusional, a fraud, or both.

If @ParamountPics had any sense at all, they would immediately fire @JamesGunn and issue a public apology for his DCU films and shows. To spare any further damage to the DC brand, they should also announce that they're "Song of the South'ing" Gunn's entire catalogue of DCU works.

With Mando and Grogu on track to finish at about $360M worldwide, the idea that Supergirl will make anything over $300M is looking more and more like a pipedream now. Make no mistake: If this thing finishes at $200M or less, it's going to be a huge embarrassment for @warnerbros.

It's crazy that the Gunn-Gooners and Real DC Fans™ continue to indulge in their delusion that the DCU is going anywhere via fan-castings and discussing "future films." The DCU ain't it, guys. Moreover, the general public is done with superhero films. The DCU is dead. Bury it.

Honestly, a college degree is largely a waste. I would recommend most forego pursing one entirely. I only bothered with college because I once had dreams of teaching abroad, and most first-world countries demand a degree before issuing a work visa (the US could learn from this).

I have no sympathy for people with student loan debt, and it should absolutely not be "forgiven" (i.e., paid for by blue-collar taxpayers). I commuted to a state school so I could afford it. Racking up thousands in debt mainly happens to those chasing the "college experience."

Being a single mother is a huge red flag for a woman; perhaps the biggest. Inspiringly, it seems like many "beta bucks" guys are finally catching on to this grift, too, and choosing their own happiness over vying for the role of second-class husband to an alpha widow. Kings all.

Most single men I know are self-sufficient and have money in the bank. Once they reached a level of fiscal security allowing them to indulge in their hobbies, they stopped climbing a pointless corporate ladder. This is not men "giving up." It's men choosing peace over servitude.

The Republicans are going to get destroyed in the midterms, and it was easily avoidable. All they had to do was not start any new wars, lower the cost of goods, and keep inflation from rising. In other words, all of the stuff they promised to do in the 2024 election cycle.

There are way too many Real DC Fans™ out there trying to browbeat others into liking the DCU slop under the threat of, "We won't get another DCU if this one fails!" Why would any legitimate fan of something want to see it maligned over the alternative of getting nothing at all?

If accusing a Snyder fan of not being a "real" DC fan, I'll only take you seriously if you say the same of the Gunn-Gooners. The DCU is no more "comic accurate" than the DCEU. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it's a far, far bigger departure from the source material.

It's disingenuous to claim a dislike for Snyder's DC films because they weren't "comic accurate" while claiming the DCU is the bees knees. I understand one having issues with Snyder's universe, but to act as if the DCU gets it "right" is the biggest load of BS I've ever heard.

For about 20 years, I read somewhere between 12 and 24 comics a month. In the last 5 years, that number hovers between 1 and 0, and none of them are mainstream superhero titles. When I see the slop coming out of the DCU, it makes me wish I could cancel my DC subs all over again.

The guests on @MariaBartiromo this morning sounded like clueless boomers, especially @LonskiJohn and @GerriWillisFBN, when talking about capitalism and Gen Z. Kind of hard for Gen Z to appreciate capitalism when they can't get jobs or buy anything to help them grow their wealth.

The DCU is a classic example of "putting the cart before the horse." Instead of announcing a full-blown cinematic universe, @warnerbros should just announce a new Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman film and focus entirely on making it good. WB and DC keep making the same mistakes.

Few people would've been interested in a Supergirl movie regardless, but @JamesGunn went one step farther and made it a bad one. How this project ever got green lit as the second film in the so-called "DCU" is beyond me. Talk about utter incompetence and total lack of vision.

Conservative commentators need to just keep their mouths shut when it comes to dating and marriage. Most of these clowns are either detached boomers, wealthy pseudo-celebrities, or both, and have no idea how exhausting and hopeless dating is for "average" men. MGTOW is the way.

I don't understand why there is a stigma around AI girlfriends. A guy going this route affects nobody but himself. The same neocons who get upset about AI girlfriends probably congratulated David Rubin on stealing children from their mothers, which is far more harmful to society.

The DCU is objectively awful. I've been reading DC Comics for over 30 years. I can understand people not liking Snyder's vision, but for many of these same people to act as if the DCU is the interpretation the comics deserve is a total farce and disservice to the source material.
