History's first trillionaire is a guy who catches rockets out of the sky with chopsticks and beams internet to every dead zone on the planet. Same guy ships cars that drive themselves, humanoid robots for the factory floor, brain chips that let paralyzed people move a cursor with pure thought, and an AI running on a supercomputer his team stood up in months instead of years. And the people crashing out about his net worth are doing it on the app he owns. The same app governments spent years trying to censor. You cannot legislate a rocket into orbit.

Mostly making this for myself, but this is a cheat-sheet for commands for getting in & tailing logs, pushing CDN configs etc on AEM with AIO. My blog is still like my personal googleable notepad. opsinventor.com/en/aem-eds-r…

I can't tell you how much I love mountain biking after work. Being able to get to this trail without getting in a car is total luxury.

Every time it’s like “City dwellers, how do you live a suburban lifestyle given the constraints of the city” >we don’t live a suburban lifestyle, we live an urban one, fitting our preferences “That doesn’t make sense because it doesn’t match my preferences”
Question to the ‘walkable city’ advocates who hate cars: If you go to the grocery store and have eight bags (or even four bags) of groceries, how do you get them home? You push around a little cart or something? Sounds bad.

This week's @lastfm announcement had me again geeking out about listening analytics. I love being able to take a fraction of time and then analyze my own listening habits. Why? No practical purpose other than to point out the times of day I love listening to non-lyrical focus music, and the time I absolutely shred to metal because I'm mountain biking and trying to be as far from screens as possible. Case in point, the average of my last 10 years of listening:

The teens are off to Oregon on their first solo trip with no parents. The last time most of our buddies in OR saw them they were a foot shorter

Starting an SEO journey today to revive opsinventor.com from the dead. I started that site 20 years ago this August with random articles that eventually had it punching WAY above its weight class. I fully stopped blogging on it 3 years ago, and even let the site go offline for like a month, and it predictably fell off the map. Going to do a little something every day, and see what it takes to revive it & document the results.

I've read a few SEOs that say that bringing an old domain back from the dead is a fool's errand, but we'll see. "Fixing that old Mustang" is other folks' fools-errand, so why can't this be my hobby?

I'm not going to @edwardeachday and cut a video about it, but we'll see where it goes.
