Today, Turion is announcing the close of our $75M Series B, led by @WashingHarbour, with participation from existing investors @Aurelia_Foundry, @forward_deploy, and @FoundersXVC, alongside new partners Center15 Capital, Magnetar, @HOFCapital, and @IndustriousVC.
When we founded Turion in 2021, the mission was clear: build the most capable commercial spacecraft on orbit, win the contracts that would fund our vision, and lay the infrastructure for the space economy.
We did that. This round validates our team, our portfolio, and our vision. More importantly, it's an inflection point that expands what we can build and how fast we can build it. The future of space isn't waiting. Neither are we.
We are proud to announce that David Wood joins us as a Business Development Operations Specialist Intern through the SkillBridge program.
David is transitioning from the U.S. Marine Corps into the private sector after 20 years of leadership and service.
Turion’s SkillBridge program provides active-duty service members in their final 180 days of service with the opportunity to transition into civilian careers through immersive, hands-on internships.

Last week Turion won the ACG Orange County & Inland Empire Startup Award.
It's great to see Turion's momentum recognized. Over the past few months, we closed our Series B, were selected for the Andromeda program, and were announced on the Space-Based Interceptor program in coordination with the broader Golden Dome architecture.
Shout-out to the 200 strong Turion team for their tireless work.
It’s easy to look at where a company is today and forget how it started. For us, it was three founders at YC Demo Day in June 2021, figuring things out in real time and betting on an idea that felt far bigger than the room they were sitting in.
The hardest part of operating in orbit is what happens after you get there. Our next-generation Droids are built for precision control, agility on demand, and operational speed that keeps pace with the mission.
Turion is in in the 2026 NatSec100, and one of the top 10% of companies with upward movement from last year's rankings. We moved up 40 places from 2025's list and are excited the market recognizes our continued trajectory and scale.

Summer 2026 round 1 interns are officially on board at Turion Space solving real problems, on real hardware, with real stakes. They're writing code, designing hardware, and doing the kind of work that actually ships. Welcome to the team. Let's build.
If you can’t laugh at the problem, you’re probably not solving it right. We’re looking for people ready to prove that wrong (or right).
We've got 15 open positions, come build the future of space with us: jobs.ashbyhq.com/turion-spac…
Somewhere between work and play is the reason we do this at all. Building hardware for space should still feel a little like being a kid obsessed with how things move.
We’re #hiring a Senior Spacecraft Integration Engineer to help bring complex spacecraft systems from build to flight.
This role sits at the heart of production—owning integration, solving real anomalies on hardware, and driving the processes that ensure every vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Important: we’re looking for engineers with direct, hands-on spacecraft manufacturing experience—people who’ve worked on the vehicle, not just around it.
If you’ve led integration efforts, troubleshot electro-mechanical systems, and know what it takes to move hardware across the line, we want to hear from you.
A few days after closing our Series B, we had the privilege of celebrating alongside the @NASAArtemis II astronauts fresh off their return from the far side of the moon, and attending the @Nasdaq closing bell ceremony. As the only commercial space company in the room, the moment wasn’t lost on us, and serves as another point of inspiration as the Turion team supports advancing the space industry.
Another signal of confidence in what we are building, Turion has been announced as one of the companies delivering capabilities supporting @USSpaceForce's Space-Based Interceptor program, in coordination with Golden Dome for America.
Delivering one of the most consequential national security initiatives in a generation, alongside some of the most capable teams in the industry, is a privilege we do not take lightly.

May 1st is #NationalSpaceDay and with Artemis II carrying us one step closer to deep space exploration, the future isn’t distant anymore...it’s unfolding above us in real time. We’re making tangible progress toward humanity’s place beyond Earth, and there’s never been a better moment to look up at the stars.
We're celebrating with a throwback to the successful separation of DROID.002...
#HIRING: Manager, NetSuite ERP & Business Systems
Own and build our ERP from the ground up as we scale at Turion.
This is a critical, early systems role. You’ll lead NetSuite implementation, define how data flows across engineering, operations, and finance, and build the backbone the business runs on.
If you’ve deployed NetSuite in complex environments and want full ownership from roadmap to execution, this is that role: jobs.ashbyhq.com/turion-spac…
