The final results of last year's nesting season of the loggerhead turtle on Boa Vista, Cabo Verde are published. Together with Fundação Tartaruga we've secured 10,539 nests on the protected beaches! This all took place between June and October 2023 – what an amazing result!🐢🙌

A group of boaters fishing off the coast of Jalisco, Mexico, recently freed a sea turtle that had become entangled in discarded fishing nets. Fishing gear is one of the greatest threats to sea turtles.
