WTF was happening today 🫣🤯 Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Here’s a little bit from my heart ♥️… 2 months ago I was in one of the absolute worst spots of my life. I was losing faith in myself as a streamer, I was letting myself down outside of stream with friends and family, my health took a turn, I had some upsetting events take place and I was just SO lost. Day by day I was losing myself a little more. I ended up taking 8 weeks off and felt like such a disappointment to myself and my community. There can be such a dark side to streaming/life in the general if you don’t take care of yourself. I was heading down a slippery slope and felt incredibly overwhelmed. Thankfully, with the time off I was able to regain and I feel more joyful, dedicated, and calm. My main focus is working on this every day so I never end up in that spot again. Because I was away I knew I would struggle financially and set myself up to go back to teaching in September. I knew most of my close community friends would stick it out for when I returned but I expected to lose some regular viewers, subs to drop, and overall some energy to be lost. I was wrong. I kind of wanted to share this mainly to say, if you need to step away, do it. Don’t put it off because it normally won’t get better without some time and effort put in. I also wanted to share this to express how much you filled my cup today with love. Although I will still struggle in various ways, 16 people contributed to an enormous amount of generosity today that lifted a lot of weight off my shoulders. And many others contributed to the amazing vibes, energy, kindness, and this song 🥹
