Lauren Edwards MP will be advocating all amendments to protect those with eating disorders are voted down. Those risks have grown since the govt revealed in the Lords 'a terminal illness' includes non-terminal conditions a doctor is willing to say could lead to your death.
People with severe eating disorders can experience hopelessness, distorted thinking, and fluctuating capacity. Thatโs exactly why expanding 'terminalโ' definitions in this area creates enormous safeguarding risks.

Leading charity Beat claims that the last Bill risked allowing someone with an eating disorder to be considered 'terminally ill' and called for stronger safeguards when it returns to the Commons.
