This has been just the worst of years.
Complaining about #GOTransit has been replaced by stressing about *gestures wildly*

Started a job at an enormous company that deals exclusively with the public, and let me tell you--there are no masks mandated, so nobody wears them. Staff, customers, management. I'd say 10% take any measures seriously. Not sure I can continue working here.

It's crazy that I'm old enough now that I can honestly say I'll never see an extensive, reliable regional train network in my working lifetime. Every time I'm in Europe, I'm amazed that there are trains to *everwhere*, and they've had them forever.

After riding the @GOtransitLE for so long, my brain can't even conceive of the 15 min headways and doubling rush hour trains @metrolinx has in their plans for 2025. Like, not a fucking chance.

I'm not sure if my favourite part of @GOtransitLE running out of parking is the lack of foresight when building even as they pushed for more ridership, or that now they want you to take the bus to the train... after canceling a ton of bus routes *chefs kiss*

A) Gee, nobody saw that coming π
B) Notice the increase in paid/reserved spots
Paid parking is going to be pushed as the solution, and it's gonna be over $20/day to commute. We're screwed.
