Interesting spectrometer data coming from my Radiacode 103 from last night's solar storm. There was anecdotal evidence of 3 to 4 visible auroral visible waves in New Zealand, upon review of some of spectra data , there are noticable notches. #radiacode

We flirted with G5 storm conditions earlier with the precursor, but now the main event is here. We're inside the core of the #solarstorm and entering G5-level territory again. This time to stay. It would not surprise me to see G5 conditions for the next 6 hours. Expect sporadic #GPS signal reception issues, HF/VHF #radio disruptions, deep into to mid-latitudes, plus visible #aurora down to low-latitudes over the next 6-12 hours!

X7.1-flare now! Region 3842 becomes an X-flare player, firing a R3 #RadioBlackout. A #solarstorm may be launching as well (it's too early to tell yet). If so, it will be Earth-directed. Expect HF #radio & #GPS issues in the Western Hemisphere, Australia & Asian Pacific over next hour (see colored regions in map). #HurricaneHelene

People with Type 1 Diabetes don't need bloods or any special conditions to get a funded AID Pump and CGM system from October 1st. This is absolutely amazing. Reducing the barriers to entry is key to getting widespread better health outcomes. πŸš€

This moment I will never forget. Was in complete awe at what I was seeing with my naked eye. Red ambiance, with huge pillars of whitish pink advancing at a phenomenal pace, the landscape getting enveloped in light. Shot in Otorohanga (North Island, New Zealand) @TamithaSkov

Aurora in South Florida!
Confirmed! We have #aurora in South Florida during this ongoing G5-level #solarstorm. Conditions like these will continue as the magnetic field of this storm continues to remain southward. Thanks for reporting!

If you have #type1 diabetes. I encourage you to consider adding the details into the emergency contact details so your phone can speak on your behalf if you are not able to for any reason. Example of what it looks like on my phone, along with a list of emergency contacts.

Quick question to all people with #diabetes Does your country you live in allow you to get supplies to fulfill everyday life without the use of a script? (Insulin, test strips needles, pump supplies etc).

Just to clarify, A script i believe is needed for the likes of insulin, but the script should be life long. A person with Diabetes isn't going to not need insulin/supplies going forward. Dosage of insulin is always up to the person giving it and is based on trust, as it is now.

How about a universal system, that allows us to verify that we have 'X lifelong condition' which entitles us to get 'x product/drug' depending on usage/dosage and set an expiry if dosage/dependant and non-trust based. Surely this should be possible now.....

There has been allot of unjustified heat leveled at Red Hat recently. Open source software has to be sustainable. How can you ensure a project is going to be maintained/developed by not compensating the developers behind it?

That is why I can see how RedHat have made a workflow (called CentOS Stream) that now that allows people to contribute back and even help shape the enterprise product.

Open source software is awesome, the community is awesome, but first and foremost it has to be sustainable for everyone. Otherwise people/developers get burnt. We don't want burnt devs. Devs are the builders for software. Let's ensure they have an awesome environment to flourish!
