Big news in education here in Mississippi! @JansenOwen has introduced a bill aimed at giving parents more control over their kids' education.
This bill would allow parents to choose a school that’s the best fit for their child without worrying about the sending district blocking their decision.

JLM was the first USM coach to give me one-on-one time when I became sports editor of the Student Printz. I can tell you first-hand how she went out of her way to promote her program and her players.
Women’s hoops had a family feel to it, and she had some great teams.
