The most thrilling 5-game series of all time. What a moment for the Knicks and the NBA. Wow. Spurs have good days ahead but that young team wasn't ready for lights this bright. It was obvious all series.

Great start for USMNT. I don’t think their defense is good enough for a deep run, but tonight was certainly impressive. Weren’t phased by the magnitude of the moment at all.

This video is what you do when you know an actual press conference would be a disaster

FIFA is a comically corrupt organization and the circumstances of this World Cup are hard to digest. Nevertheless, I hope for a great tournament, rich in storytelling from across the globe. May it bring out the best in us. Play ball.

Perhaps the only outcome that could steal headlines from the World Cup kicking off tomorrow. Take a bow, NBA. Absolute theater.

What a series. Good gracious.

Texas Tech’s official position is that Brendan Sorsby’s mental health is best served by spending 4 months getting tackled while thousands of opposing fans chant “F—k you Sorsby” at him. Quite the racket they’re running in Lubbock these days

The bad faith here, the thing that's gross, is trying to slip in this insane idea that the only way Texas Tech can support Sorsby's fight against addiction is putting him on the field at QB. Strikes me as a mockery of mental illness for their own cynical ends

Fantastic from Nicole.
Schools saying they will refuse to schedule Texas Tech is one thing. But the real question is whether the Big 12 steps in to stop the Red Raiders from playing Brendan Sorsby after a Texas judge overruled the NCAA: nbcsports.com/college-footba…

In exchange for a cut of the winnings, he tells his friend at UVA to bet on Virginia to win. If necessary, the GT player may even choose to whiff on a critical block or drop a pass on 3rd down. He *needs* that money. Because he has a gambling problem.

If you don’t stamp out ALL betting within each player’s sport, you risk the integrity of everything. Period. I hope common sense prevails.

You do at a certain point have to respect the lunacy of Texas Tech and its fans to see the *entire CFB community* all agree on something for maybe the first time ever and think “Ah, yes. We are right and the entire world is wrong.”

I endorse this. Refuse to play Texas Tech. This is a moment to overturn the tables in the temple, so to speak.
Big 12 ADs tell @YahooSports they’ve had “serious” talks on not playing Texas Tech. One SEC AD says there should be conversations about not playing Tech “in any sports.” The Brendan Sorsby ruling has left an industry jarred. “It’s total f***** bullshit.” bit.ly/4uWicN7

More realistically: Other Big 12 schools should pressure the league to declare Tech ineligible to play in the conference championship game. Legality of that? Who knows, but force Tech to keep paying lawyers out the wazoo until they decide one season isn't worth the shame.

Utterly stunning. Sets a horrible precedent and drives another stake through what was left of the NCAA’s power to govern. He broke the golden rule that pretty much everyone agrees with, and will get away with it. Shame on Texas Tech for their role in this as well.
NEWS: A judge in district court in Lubbock County, Texas, has granted the injunction requested by Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby. He’s set to be eligible for the 2026 season.

Collin Klein and his staff are doing some really good things on the recruiting trail. Impressive to see from a brand new administration.
