We’re excited to recognize “The Power of Nurses” at TJC during this National Nurses Week, because it’s something we see in our nursing students every day. 💛🩺
From long nights of studying to hands-on clinical experience, our graduates are stepping into the nursing profession ready to make a difference, leading with compassion and care for their communities.
This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating every mom cheering from the sidelines ✨
The moms helping with late-night study sessions, encouragement texts and endless support while their students chase their dreams at TJC.
And the moms chasing dreams of their own — going back to school, finishing their degree and showing their families that it’s never too late to start again 💛
To every TJC mom making sacrifices, making memories and making it happen: we see you, and we celebrate you today.
"After a career setback, Tera Franklin had a choice: Stay stuck or start over. She chose growth at TJC.
Tera began work on the Bachelor of Applied Technology in Healthcare Administration degree, one of TJC’s standout bachelor's degree completion programs.
While working 10-hour days and studying on weekends, she succeeded in a two-year program designed for real life, at a cost she calls "financially friendly.
“It wasn't always easy, but it was worth it," Tera said. "I highly recommend TJC to anyone!""
Caps off, futures on 🎓✨
We’re counting down the moments until the Class of 2026 crosses that stage at TJC—and trust us, the excitement is REAL. From late-night study sessions to big-time accomplishments, you’ve earned every bit of what’s ahead.
The first in her family to graduate from college, TJC student Samantha Velazquez knows responsibility, completing her degree while balancing work and school. Samantha’s story is a reminder that where you begin doesn't define where you can go.
