The biscuit drank the gravy the way a field drinks rain — THAT is why it is shaped like that, you fool — and every mound I had insulted was a soft fold of comfort that my homeland, in eight hundred years, never once thought to invent. "Well?" the waitress asked. "I judged it," I confessed. "By its appearance. I am ashamed." "Everybody does, hon." Everybody does. A national dish that forgives you for doubting it. It expects the doubt. It waits for you on the other side of it. Do not judge the gravy by its face. Judge yourself, for hesitating. I order it every Saturday now. I no longer see the construction site. I see only the garden. It was a garden the whole time. The eye must be trained.

I still am struggling to wrap my head around the fact this is actually happening… Don’t care what your political views are, EVERYONE should be absolutely embarrassed & ashamed that this is happening at the Lincoln Memorial & White House. What a joke.

I lived with Tristan all of last year, at Clemson. He will be a life long friend of mine. I will never forget the conversations we had before Ole Miss came around. He was not getting much love, the next “biggest” was Duke. A good friend of his put in a great word at Ole Miss. Bianco & Co. saw his ELITE advanced metrics & gave him a chance. Keep in mind, Tristan was coming into Ole Miss with a Torn UCL. I could not be more proud of my friend. He bet on himself & is now enjoying one hell of a ride.

That @HailStateBB and @BaseballUGA Super Regional was as good a series as I’ve seen. It could easily have been the National Championship Series. That’s two absolutely loaded lineups peaking at the right time. As an Ole Miss fan, I’m glad only one will be in Omaha
