The altarpiece is mounted in a rich baroque frame, surmounted by stained glass rose window. A richly adorned pipe organ can be seen to the eastern gallery. Along the transept in front of the absis, two enclosed naves host a Pietà statue and a reliquiary. Many huge chandeliers hang above the central nave, and lots of candles are scattered around the cathedral. To the right, another section of the cathedral: an underground Ossuary crypt, with walls made out of bones and skulls.
